OCTOBER 2015: TURNKEY GPU-ENABLED HPC CLUSTER

NovaGlobal had successfully commissioned a NVIDIA GPU-enabled HPC Cluster based on GROMACS for a local university. The entity is involved in research into natural gas technologies.

GROMACS is a molecular dynamics simulation package. It is one of the fastest and most popular software available for molecular simulation and can run on CPUs as well as on GPUs. With NVIDIA Tesla K40 GPUs, the expectation is to see 2X and 3X speedups as compared to the latest multi-core CPUs.
